Job summary

Arcadia Cold Storage and Logistics is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Coordinator to certify and track incoming and outgoing goods. The position follows a Monday–Friday schedule from 10:00am to 6:30pm at our El Mirage, AZ facility.

You will check bills of lading, coordinate with Warehouse Lead, prepare tally documents, manage paperwork, and update the Dock Management System while ensuring accuracy and safety in all receiving and shipping activities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; combination of education and experience.
• Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills.
• Strong sense of urgency and ability to meet deadlines.
• Attention to detail; capable of working independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Check bills of lading for accuracy.
• Coordinate shipping and/or receiving operations with Warehouse Lead.
• Fill in shipping and/or receiving tally documents.
• Organize “mail slots” with proper paperwork.
• Schedule shipping and/or receiving appointments.
• Fold lot stickers as they print for receiving as necessary.
• Apply lot stickers to both front and back of received pallet as necessary.
• Execute all safety procedures and standards regarding the storage and receipt of goods.
• Perform other duties and special projects as needed.
• Process all inbound and outbound orders as trucks arrive and depart warehouse.
• Generate all paperwork/information required for customer work orders including responding to and checking status of special requests, expediting orders where necessary, tracking orders and posting inventory records.
• Communicate between customer and warehouse operations concerning the customer’s account/inventory.
• Update the DMS (Dock Management System) in a timely manner.
