Job summary

RAF Electronic Hardware in Seymour, CT is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Associate II to verify, pre-package, document, and ship springs and other wire-forms following specific instructions. You will read orders, prepare packaging, and ensure accurate paperwork is attached to each shipment while maintaining a clean, organized work area and coordinating with quality and purchasing as needed.

Candidates should have at least two years of shipping or warehouse experience, be able to lift up to 50

Qualifications

• Minimum two (2) years of experience in shipping, receiving, warehouse, or material handling.
• Experience using forklifts, pallet jacks, or similar equipment
• Intermediate understanding of logistics, freight carriers, and warehouse procedures.
• Ability to read and interpret packing lists, purchase orders, work orders, and shipping documents.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent

Responsibilities

• Verify and match job/P.O. to material that comes in from UPS or carrier and send to quality if necessary.
• Bring parts accepted from quality to the shipping area.
• Read jobs for packaging requirements, special requests, or process before shipping.
• Pre-package parts in appropriate quantity.
• Prepare paperwork and documentation for shipping and traceability.
• Keep a clean and organized work area.
