Job summary

Schaeffler is seeking a Shipping/Receiving Associate II for Cheraw, SC – First Shift. You will perform loading and unloading, prepare deliveries for drivers, and maintain accurate documentation in the warehouse.

This role requires a high school diploma or GED, basic computer skills, and the ability to lift heavy objects. SAP experience is a plus, and you must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in English.
• Basic computer knowledge and MS Office skills.
• Ability to regularly lift heavy objects if required.
• Ability to operate transportation machinery.
• Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without employment visa or other sponsorship.
• Preferred: First experience in logistics, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Preferred: First experience working with IT & SAP systems.

Responsibilities

• Execute loading and unloading of goods and manage the respective documentation.
• Prepare deliveries of products and tours for drivers.
• Store packages and prepacked products in the warehouse.
• Deconsolidate, re-pack, store, retrieve and execute internal transports.
• Pick, pack and label different goods e.g. raw material, components, semi-finished-products, finished products, trading goods etc.
• Track and overview products and transports in the IT system.
• Follow all safety and production rules and ensure proper use of PPE at all times.
