Job summary

Schaeffler Group USA Inc. is seeking a warehouse associate to execute loading/unloading, manage delivery documentation, and prepare product shipments for drivers.

You will store and organize inventory, perform internal transports, and ensure accuracy in the IT system while complying with safety rules. Preferred candidates have SAP exposure, basic forklift certification, and prior logistics experience in manufacturing environments.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or GED.
• Must follow written and verbal instructions in English.
• Basic computer knowledge and MS Office skills.
• Good visual acuity.
• Ability to lift heavy objects regularly.
• Ability to operate transportation machinery.
• Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without employment visa or other sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Execute loading and unloading of goods and manage the respective documentation.
• Prepare deliveries of products and tours for drivers.
• Store packages and prepacked products in the warehouse.
• Deconsolidate, re-pack, store, retrieve and execute internal transports.
• Pick, pack and label different goods e.g. raw material, components, semi-finished-products, finished products, trading goods etc.
• Track and overview products and transports in the IT system.
• Follow all safety and production rules and ensure proper use of PPE at all times.

• Execute loading and unloading of goods and manage the respective documentation

Your Qualifications

Required:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in English
• Basic computer knowledge and MS office skills
• Good visual acuity
• Ability to regularly lift heavy objects if required
• Ability to operate transportation machinery
• Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without employment visa or other sponsorship

Preferred:

• First experience in logistics, preferably in a manufacturing environment
• First experience working with IT & SAP systems
• Forklift certification a plus
