Job summary

Johnson Controls in Marinette seeks a Receiving/Shipping Clerk to manage the proper receiving and put-away of stock, and to transfer materials between warehouses. Training per the Marinette Operations Matrix is provided, with potential department rotation as needed to fit skill sets and production demands.

The role requires a high school diploma, knowledge of shipping regulations, SAP experience, and a forklift license.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ with HS Diploma or equivalent.
• Solid knowledge of shipping regulations and material handling procedures.
• Ability to read and complete shipping orders and bills of lading.
• Basic arithmetic skills for daily tasks and data entry.
• Familiarity with SAP for inventory and receiving processes.
• DOT requirements knowledge and forklift operation is required.

Responsibilities

• Process shipping/receiving orders, check counts, and pack products per specifications.
• Operate forklift to load/unload and move materials between locations.
• Enter data via bar code system and verify counts and part numbers in SAP.
• Coordinate with carriers to confirm quantity, type, and load distribution.
• Maintain accurate records and complete shortages/damage reports.
• Assist in inventory audits, cycle counts, and warehouse housekeeping.
