Job summary

Carlisle Companies is seeking a Shipping and Receiving Specialist to join our Fernley, NV facility. You will log drivers, direct dock activities, review bills of lading, and ensure timely loading and unloading of inbound and outbound shipments.

The role requires forklift operation, coordination with drivers and customers, and posting deliveries in SAP. The 40-hour workweek is Monday through Friday, with overtime as needed and no travel.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of two years in a distribution or manufacturing shipping environment.
• Forklift training and certification preferred.
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP or JDE) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Verify pallets, charges, carrier, trailer numbers and BOL notes.
• Prepare shipping paperwork and billing documentation.
• Maintain inbound and outbound truck logs daily.
• Direct drivers to loading/unloading locations.
• Post deliveries in SAP and communicate status to customers.
