Carlisle Companies is seeking a Shipping and Receiving Specialist to join our Fernley, NV facility. You will log drivers, direct dock activities, review bills of lading, and ensure timely loading and unloading of inbound and outbound shipments.
The role requires forklift operation, coordination with drivers and customers, and posting deliveries in SAP. The 40-hour workweek is Monday through Friday, with overtime as needed and no travel.

Shift: Monday- Friday 7 am- 4:30 pm, OT as required
This position is the initial and primary point of contact for drivers arriving at the facility to pick up or drop off inbound/outbound loads or make deliveries. The Shipping and Receiving Specialist logs all drivers into the facility, directs them to the appropriate dock for loading and unloading, monitors all incoming and outgoing shipping activities, including paperwork, and records outgoing shipments. This position also reviews shipping notices, bills of lading, invoices, orders, and other records to determine shipping priorities, work assignments, and shipping methods required to meet shipping schedules. In addition to administrative and coordination responsibilities, this role regularly operates a forklift to load and unload trucks, move materials throughout the facility, and support daily shipping and receiving operations. The standard hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week, with occasional overtime and weekend work as needed. No travel is required for this position.
