Job summary

CCL Industries seeks a Shipping & Receiving Associate to support our TRP warehouse operations, handling loading/unloading, lift-truck movement, packaging, labeling, and inventory control while maintaining accurate paperwork.

You will verify quantities against packing slips, transmit required notices, and work in a safety‑driven, team environment. A minimum of 1 year shipping/receiving experience and proficiency with Word, Excel, UPS WorldShip, and forklift operation are preferred.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Minimum 1 year shipping/receiving experience preferred.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
Ability to operate a lift truck and work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Follow all corporate policies, including attendance and safety.
Verify quantity against supplier paperwork (Packing Slip / BOL).
Wrap, label, prepare paperwork and confirm quality testing for all shipments, transmit ASN when applicable.
Identify, label and store materials in pre-designated areas.
Coordinate deliveries and assist in safe loading/unloading of vehicles.
Motivated toward productivity improvements, safety and quality awareness.
Keep work areas safe/clean at all times (docks, receiving area, aisles, workstations).
Inspect and maintain material handling equipment prior to shift per OSHA.
Verify inventory through weekly cycle counting.
Lifting of ~30 lbs. unaided from floor to chest frequently.
Think ahead, anticipate problems, make decisions and take action.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
