Job summary

Aerotek in Oshkosh, WI is seeking a Shipping and Receiving Worker to handle material flow in a metal fabrication facility. You will unload trucks, inspect and store materials, prepare shipping paperwork and load outbound shipments.

The role requires operating forklifts and overhead cranes, using power tools, and taking ownership of the shipping department with opportunities for advancement. This is a permanent, onsite position with a competitive pay range of $20–$25 per hour.

Qualifications

• 1 year of warehousing, receiving, or shipping experience preferred.
• Experience operating forklifts or overhead cranes preferred.
• Must be comfortable using power tools.

Responsibilities

• Unload incoming trucks and inspect materials to ensure all orders are accounted for and undamaged.
• Store raw materials in storage shelving and in the yard storage areas.
• Prepare shipping related documentation including Bills of Lading and shipping labels.
• Build crating and load outgoing trucks for delivery to customers.
• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment on a daily basis.
• Take ownership of the shipping and receiving department, demonstrating initiative and working toward a future lead-level responsibility.
