Job summary

Aalberts-Surface-Treatment in Milwaukee seeks a Warehouse Shipping Clerk to manage receiving, inspection, and outgoing shipments, and to complete all shipping documents.

We require a High School diploma and prior shipping/receiving or warehouse experience, with the ability to operate gas and electric forklifts; overhead crane experience is a plus. The role emphasizes maintaining an organized warehouse and supporting related duties.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent.
• Previous shipping and receiving and/or warehouse experience.
• Must be able to operate gas and electric forklifts.
• Experience with overhead crane is preferable.

Responsibilities

• Inspect incoming orders, fill out paperwork and provide pictures as necessary.
• Shipping and receiving of goods, and forwarding packing slips and documents to the office.
• Document discrepancies and/or damage with packing slips or bills of lading; provide photos when needed.
• Check products to be shipped against work orders for correct items/quantities.
• Prepare bills of lading, manifests and other shipping documents.
• Package products to prevent shipping damage.
• Maintain warehouse area and housekeeping; keep area organized and clutter-free.
• Move rolls as requested by Customer Service or Management.
• Maintain inventory of consumables and rolls; perform other duties as assigned.
