Job summary

Kenco Logistics in Georgia is seeking a Shipping/Receiving Clerk to verify shipments, prepare outgoing orders, and receive deliveries at the dock using our warehouse management systems. You will stage shipments, inspect for damages, and maintain detailed records to ensure accuracy and efficiency in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

This role requires attention to detail, basic Excel skills, and the ability to multitask while adhering to safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• High School or GED required.
• Associate's degree or two years of equivalent experience preferred.
• Minimum six months in a warehouse or distribution environment required.
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Excel required
• Attention to detail and quality required
• Ability to multitask in a safe manner

Responsibilities

• Document management: Prepare, create, retrieve, validate, and store documents to support operations.
• Label, pack, and load items for shipment according to specifications.
• Stage shipments for shipping.
• Accept shipments and prepare docks for receiving.
• Operate stretch-wrap machines and prepare pallets/crates for shipping.
• Unload deliveries and move items to appropriate areas.
• Inspect for damage and discrepancies against records and purchase orders.
• Maintain records of items received and shipped in WMS.
• Maintain inventory of shipping materials and supplies.
• Keep work area and equipment clean and follow safety regulations.
• Ensure facility is inspection-ready for SQFI, FDA, and customers.
