Job summary

Protolabs in Nashua, NH is seeking a Shipping and Receiving Associate to act as a critical link between production and customers, ensuring shipments are accurate, timely, and compliant. You will coordinate domestic and international shipments, select carriers, and maintain shipment records with ERP systems.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of shipping and receiving experience
• Forklift experience
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to work safely with sharp tools/objects
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Ability to comprehend and follow printed and computer-screen instructions

Responsibilities

• Prepare and process all domestic and international shipments using UPS, FedEx, LTL and other carriers and couriers.
• Determine appropriate carrier and method of shipment required to meet internal and external customer demands.
• Maintain internal databases including intranet and ERP system to ensure accurate shipping history.
• Work with internal customers to resolve customer service issues, including, but not limited to: shipping errors, order entry errors, late orders, packing slip/part count/PO discrepancies.
• Proactively communicate shipping issues to customer service for resolution.
• Support other departments (Sales, Marketing, and Customer Service) with preparing and shipping tradeshow supplies, marketing materials, and samples by requested ship method.
• Maintain clean and organized work area with emphasis on safety, quality, efficiency, and utilization.
• Continually seek to improve work processes and individual performance.
