Job summary

Nooney Controls Corporation in North Kingstown, RI is seeking a warehouse associate responsible for shipping, receiving and inventory support. You will package shipments, process documentation, and coordinate carrier pickups while ensuring accurate data entry in our ERP/WMS systems.

The role requires 1–3 years in warehouse operations, familiarity with shipping software, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Emphasis on accuracy, safety, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–3 years of experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations (manufacturing environment preferred).
• Familiarity with shipping software and ERP systems.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate warehouse equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and package outgoing shipments according to customer and carrier requirements.
• Generate shipping labels, bills of lading, and other required documentation.
• Coordinate with carriers for timely pickups and deliveries.
• Unload, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing slips.
• Report and document any discrepancies or damaged goods.
• Accurately enter received items into the inventory system.
• Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts.
• Organize and label materials in designated storage areas.
• Maintain cleanliness and order in the shipping/receiving area.
• Maintain accurate records of all shipping and receiving transactions.
• Use ERP or warehouse management systems to track inventory movement.
• Ensure all documentation is filed and stored properly.
• Follow all safety procedures and use proper lifting techniques.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely.
• Comply with company policies and industry regulations.
