Job summary

Fortune Brands Innovations, Inc. is seeking a Shipper to prepare, verify, and load outgoing shipments of finished decking products. You will label, wrap, stage, and ensure shipments meet customer and carrier requirements while maintaining safety and efficiency.

You will work in a shipping dock/warehouse, operate forklifts, verify packing lists and bills of lading, and support inventory updates. The role requires a high school diploma, 1–2 years in shipping, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs;

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in shipping, warehouse, or logistics roles preferred.
• Forklift certification or willingness to obtain.
• Ability to read and understand shipping documents and instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a physically demanding environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare finished goods for shipment, including labeling, wrapping, and staging.
• Verify shipping documentation such as packing lists, bills of lading, and load sheets.
• Load trucks safely and efficiently using forklifts or other material handling equipment.
• Inspect outgoing shipments for accuracy, damage, and compliance with specifications.
• Communicate with the Lead Shipper and Warehouse Manager regarding shipping schedules and priorities.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the shipping area.
• Assist with inventory updates and documentation related to outbound shipments.
• Follow all safety protocols and ensure proper use of PPE and equipment.
• Report any shipping discrepancies, delays, or equipment issues promptly.
