Job summary

Kelly Services in Dublin, OH is seeking a Shipping/Receiving Worker for a first shift schedule (8am-4:30pm, Mon-Fri) with a pay range of $19.00–$23.00 per hour. The role involves lifting, moving, and organizing shipments using forklifts and related equipment while maintaining accurate shipment records and ensuring smooth logistics flow.

Responsibilities include inspecting shipments, preparing bills of lading, and coordinating with supervisors to manage material movement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds regularly, occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance.
• Must be comfortable with physical demands including standing, walking, reaching, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling.
• Strong vision abilities required (close, distance, color, peripheral, depth-perception, and focus).
• Experience with MRP systems, email, spreadsheets, and word processing software.
• Proficient in electronic databases and data entry.

Responsibilities

• Compare identifying information and count, weigh, or measure items of incoming and outgoing shipments to verify accuracy.
• Maintain records on shipments and prepare items for shipment.
• Direct movement of shipments from shipping and receiving platform to storage and work areas.
• Prepare bills of lading and affix shipping labels or stencil shipping information on cartons.
• Assemble containers or select pre-assembled containers, and insert items into containers.
• Coordinate with supervisors to ensure smooth flow of materials or products across departments.
• Review records for accuracy and compliance; assess stock levels.
• Requisition containers and supplies for delivery to work stations.
• Verify and prepare records such as routing slips, material requisitions, and job orders.
