Job summary

TurboCAM in Barrington, NH is seeking a shipping/receiving clerk responsible for verifying and recording all incoming and outgoing shipments and preparing items for shipment.

You will match part numbers and quantities, communicate with the supervisor about destinations, ensure proper packing, and manage packing slips and labels. You’ll also coordinate pickups with freight carriers and inspect deliveries for damage.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years in an office or shop environment preferred.
• Good math skills and attention to detail.
• Able to handle multiple tasks and priorities.
• Excellent communication and organization skills.
• MS Office and ERP software proficiency (Epicor preferred).
• Must have a valid driver’s license and forklift certification, able to obtain a DOT health card.

Responsibilities

• Verify and keep records on incoming and outgoing shipments and prepare items for shipment.
• Compare identifiers, part numbers, serial numbers, count, weigh, or measure items against bills of lading.
• Communicate daily with supervisor about quantities and destinations.
• Ensure proper packing, inspect shipments for specifications, and prepare packing/labels.
• Arrange pickups with authorized freight companies; receive deliveries from carriers.
• Verify merchandise against packing slips and purchase orders; report damaged items.
