Job summary

ISCO Industries is seeking a Shipping and Receiving Associate for the 1st shift in Houston to support our distribution network. You will verify incoming and outgoing shipments, load and unload products, and maintain accurate inventory records.

The role requires forklift experience or certification and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. ISCO offers medical/dental/vision, a 401(k), and a standard benefits package.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Forklift experience or ability to be trained and certified to operate forklift.
• Prior warehouse, shipping, and/or distribution experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely load and unload products.
• Verify received products against packing lists.
• Store products on appropriate shelves and maintain inventory accuracy.
• Determine best packing methods to protect products during transit.
• Use TMS to select shipping mode and carrier for fastest delivery and lowest cost.
• Use Epicor-Prelude ERP to maintain data integrity and counts.
• Conduct daily cycle counts and investigate root causes of problems.
• Make process improvement recommendations.
