Shipping and Receiving Specialist

Location: Mount Holly, NC (On-Site)

Job Type: Full-time | Monday Friday, 7:00 AM 3:30 PM

We're looking for a Shipping and Receiving Specialist who thrives in fast-moving environments and knows how to keep materials organized, accurate, and always where they need to be.

This role is perfect for someone who takes pride in the details, works well with a team, and isn't afraid to roll up their sleeves to keep operations running smoothly.

What You'll Do

• Receive and inspect inbound shipments verify accuracy, flag issues, and sign off.
• Organize and label inventory in a clear, accessible system.
• Operate forklifts to unload trucks, move materials, and empty hoppers.
• Track inventory with Excel spreadsheets and update our Powerhouse Tracker.
• Reconcile inventory discrepancies and provide monthly inventory reports.
• Monitor stock levels and alert the Production Manager when supplies run low (or high).
• Prepare and package outgoing shipments label, document, and schedule with carriers.
• Lay loose by supplying outgoing projects with the materials they need.
• Support other departments with shipping, receiving, or inventory-related needs.
• Help maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment.
• Assist with inventory counts and ensure records stay accurate.
• Jump in where needed this is a hands-on, team-first role.
  
  
  

What You Bring

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license
• U.S. citizenship required
• 24 years of experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse roles
• Comfortable using Excel; NetSuite experience is a plus
• Forklift experience (certification preferred)
• Strong attention to detail, solid communication skills, and a dependable work ethic
• Physically capable able to lift materials, stand for long periods, and move with purpose
