Job summary

Allen Industries Inc in Greensboro, NC is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Clerk to help coordinate final production steps and ensure materials are handled safely and efficiently.

You will prepare packing lists, organize records, load/unload with a forklift, and maintain a clean dock while supporting receiving and production to keep orders moving on schedule. This is a full-time manufacturing role with safety as a priority.

Qualifications

• Experience in shipping, receiving, packing, crating, or related tasks.
• Forklift experience or certification preferred.
• Ability to read a tape measure and use basic hand/power tools.
• Basic carpentry and mechanical skills helpful.

Responsibilities

• Prepare packing lists, Bills of Lading, and shipping documents.
• Organize and maintain shipping/receiving records.
• Load/unload trucks with a forklift and build crates.
• Coordinate with production to keep orders moving on schedule.
• Maintain a clean, safe dock area and follow safety procedures.
