Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Material Handler in Utah to support receipt and shipping of materials, ensuring items meet customer requirements. The role may involve using anti-static devices and operating material handling equipment as licensed.

The job requires reading specifications, preparing labels, and inputting data into automated systems. Candidates must have a HS diploma or GED, and be able to obtain an MHE license within 30 days.

Qualifications

• Minimum three (3) months general work experience demonstrating suitability for the role.
• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Ability to obtain license to use MHE within 30 days of selection.
• Inert Certification training requirements may be needed to be completed.
• Travel may be required; security clearance may be required in some locations.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, classify, accept or reject material per regulations and specs.
• Read specifications and photographs as required for DLA contracts.
• Load/unload material from skids, prepare labels, and input data into receiving/shipping systems.
• Operate material handling equipment and basic inspection tools under supervision.
• Maintain data records and perform basic reporting; ensure safety and quality standards.
