Job summary

Amentum is seeking personnel in Ogden, UT to support receiving and shipping operations, ensuring materials meet customer specifications. The role involves inspecting, labeling, data entry, and operating material handling equipment in a fast-paced environment.

Qualified candidates will have a HS diploma or GED, at least 3 months general work experience, and the ability to obtain a MHE license within 30 days; inert certification training may be required. Some travel and shifts may be necessary.

Qualifications

• Minimum three (3) months general work experience demonstrating ability for responsibilities.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• May substitute experience for education at rate of one year general experience for one year of high school.
• Must obtain license to use MHE within 30 days of selection.
• Must complete Inert Certification training requirements.

Responsibilities

• Identify, examine, classify, accept, reject, and dispose of material per regulations.
• Read specifications and photographs as required in contracts; mentor-assisted.
• Read blueprints, schematics under mentoring of senior personnel.
• Load/unload material on/off skids, pallets, stands; prepare labels.
• Input data to automated systems for receiving/shipping duties.
• Operate material handling equipment as assigned; hold necessary licenses.
• Count, weigh, and tag items; perform basic reporting.
• Perform preventive maintenance on related equipment.
