Job summary

Mittera Creative + Tech in Illinois is seeking a Receiving Clerk to support the shipping and accounting teams. You will ensure jobs are billed on time and freight costs are correctly applied to the job numbers, with all PO and freight support delivered to the correct departments.

Responsibilities include processing shipments via the shipping system (packages and skids), loading/unloading trucks, forklift operation, outputting POs, identifying discrepancies, and coordinating with vendors to move

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
5–10+ years of work experience are required.
Must be able to operate in a professional manner under stress.
Ability to read and interpret notices, invoices and bills of lading.

Responsibilities

Utilize the shipping system to process shipments (packages and skids).
Load and unload delivery trucks as needed.
Operate a forklift.
Receive paper and other print supplies.
Use the PO system to output purchase orders to confirm proper product receipt.
Communicate discrepancies or damaged product clearly and quickly.
Review shipping notices, bills of lading, invoices and orders to determine priorities and methods.
Help with daily workload of jobs and ensure packaging and labeling details are followed.
Coordinate shipping of jobs to and from outside vendors.
Ensure shipping details are on the job ticket.
Oversee incoming and outgoing shipping activities for accuracy and condition.
