Job summary

Tenneco is seeking a Supervisor for Shipping & Receiving to lead the shift logistics area, plan and supervise receiving, storage, and distribution to meet customer needs.

You will ensure timely EDI transactions, supervise team members, and maintain a safe workplace while aligning with production schedules and quality targets. This role requires strong leadership and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in materials management or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum four years supervisory experience.
• Experience using Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Ability to work with customers, outside suppliers, intragroup and internal personnel.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Directs shipping and receiving operations to meet customer requirements.
• Ensures timely EDI transactions and coordination with suppliers.
• Tracks finished goods inventory and generates reports as needed.
• Maintains a safe workplace and complies with EHS policies.
• Supports the production schedule and drives continuous improvement.
