Job summary

Trystar Inc in Houston, TX is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Specialist to ensure accurate movement of goods in our manufacturing environment. You will receive, inspect, and store incoming materials, and prepare and ship finished products to customers and distribution centers.

This full-time role requires attention to detail, the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and basic computer skills with inventory software and MS Office. Forklift certification and ERP experience are a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 1 year experience in shipping/receiving or warehouse operations.
• Basic computer skills with inventory management software and MS Office.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and verify shipments against POs and packing lists.
• Prepare and package outgoing shipments per standards; label and document.
• Maintain records of shipping and receiving activities in the ERP/inventory system.
• Coordinate with warehouse and production for storage and retrieval of materials and finished goods.
• Ensure safety protocols and regulatory compliance during shipping/receiving processes.
• Communicate with vendors, carriers, and internal departments to resolve delays.
• Operate forklifts and pallet jacks safely and efficiently.
