Job summary

Power Temp Systems, Inc. is seeking a hands-on Shipping & Receiving Coordinator in Houston, TX to support daily shipping, receiving, inventory control, and warehouse operations. The role requires hands-on experience with inbound/outbound shipments and accurate inventory management.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in shipping/receiving, familiarity with industrial parts, and forklift certification. This full-time position emphasizes accuracy, safety, and efficient warehouse operations.

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of shipping, receiving, and inventory experience.
Experience with inventory systems, cycle counts, and discrepancy resolution.
Forklift certification is required.
Experience with UPS/FedEx shipping systems; LTL experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments.
Prepare bills of lading, packing slips, work orders, and other shipping documentation.
Receive, inspect, count, label, stage, and palletize materials and parts.
Maintain accurate inventory records and perform cycle counts.
Coordinate carrier pickups with UPS, FedEx, and LTL freight.
Follow safety policies and maintain organized warehouse areas.
