Job summary

GASBARRE in the United States is seeking a Warehouse Associate to verify shipments, unload materials, and route items to the correct departments. You will compare packing slips with purchase orders to ensure accuracy and prepare goods for shipment.

You may operate a dolly, pallet jack, and forklift, and may drive a company vehicle to deliver shipments. You will build pallets and crates and perform inventory cataloging and control as required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Regularly lift up to 50 pounds.
• Walk, stand, and sit for extended periods.
• Basic computer skills and clear communication.

Responsibilities

• Receives and unloads incoming materials and compares information on packing slip with purchase order to verify accuracy of shipment.
• Inspects shipments for damages or defects, records discrepancies or damages and notify supervisor.
• Operates dolly, pallet jack, and/or forklift in loading and unloading supplies and equipment.
• May operate company vehicle to deliver shipments as required.
• Build pallets and crates as necessary.
• Inventory cataloguing and control as required.
