Job summary

Aerotek is seeking a Shipping and Receiving Associate in Hebron, KY to support daily warehouse operations. You will coordinate incoming and outgoing shipments, inspect goods, and maintain accurate inventory using RF scanners and ERP systems.

The role requires forklift capability, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while adhering to safety procedures. Onsite work with potential for schedule flexibility and team collaboration.

Qualifications

• Experience in shipping, receiving, warehouse or logistics environments.
• Proficient in inventory management and material handling in a warehouse.
• Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification.
• Experience using RF scanners, barcode systems, and inventory management software.
• Familiar with UPS, FedEx, DHL, and LTL freight providers.
• Knowledge of warehouse safety procedures and OSHA guidelines.
• Strong attention to detail when verifying shipments and counts.
• Ability to read/interpret packing slips, bills of lading, and shipping manifests.
• Basic computer proficiency including Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
• Able to prioritize tasks and manage multiple shipments in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate shipments to ensure timely receipt and dispatch of materials and products.
• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against packing slips and bills of lading.
• Prepare, pack, and label outgoing shipments per company standards.
• Record inventory movements using RF scanners, barcode systems, and ERP software.
• Perform cycle counts and reconcile discrepancies to maintain accuracy.
• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely.
• Maintain organized storage areas and accessible inventory.
• Communicate shipment status and inventory issues to teams.
• Support continuous improvement of warehouse processes.
