Job summary

Snelling Staffing of Canton, OH is hiring a Shipping Receiving Order Picker. Pay rate $17 HR with weekly pay. Schedule: Tuesday–Saturday (Tue–Fri 7am–4pm and Sat 6am–3pm).

As a shipping/receiving picker you will ship and receive freight from carriers, locate and stage items for shipping, load and unload trucks, inspect freight for accuracy and damage, and prepare packages with wrapping and boxing materials.

Responsibilities

• Ship and receive freight from common carriers, van lines, UPS, FedEx and individuals.
• Locate, pull and stage freight for shipping.
• Load and unload truck either individually or with assistance of drivers or other dock workers, with or without mechanical freight-handling equipment.
• Inspect freight for damage, correct model number, correct serial number, and lease number, document accessories.
• Shrink wrap, corner board, assemble boxes by taping or stapling, use foam machine and weigh scales while preparing shipments.
