Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year in administrative support or shipping at a manufacturing facility or distribution center.
• Proficient with MRP systems and MS Office.
• Ability to read and interpret documents, safety rules, and procedures.
• Ability to perform basic math and interpret charts/quality tools.
• Forklift license or ability to obtain one; forklift operation experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate receipt, filing, and accuracy of shipping documents.
• Prepare shipping documents, including documents for out-of-country shipments.
• Ensure required documents are accurately completed and maintained in an orderly file.
• Complete entries into BAAN/SAP accurately and on time.
• Create shipment plan documents.
• Provide backup coverage for the Logistics Specialist and other department employees when assigned.
• Operate a lift truck.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
