Job summary

Lineage Logistics is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Operator in Chester, VA. The role involves moving products with forklift and pallet jack, verifying inventory, and ensuring quality.

Shifts include mornings, afternoons, and overnight options, with a competitive hourly pay and a shift differential where applicable. Responsibilities include reading work orders, locating items, packaging for shipping using RF scanners, reporting damages, and maintaining warehouse organization.

Qualifications

• Identify products by reading and scanning pallet IDs.
• Understand instructions in the country language or as defined by Lineage.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Able to work in -20F/-25C cold storage or up to 100F/37C dry storage with PPE.
• Able to lift at least 40 lbs and work flexible shifts including weekends.
• Comfortable with varying noise levels.

Responsibilities

• Read and follow computerized work orders to determine quantities and types of products to be shipped.
• Locate requested items in the warehouse.
• Change over pallets for picking and inspect items for damages.
• Document and report damages to supervisors.
• Pack, seal, and label materials for shipping using RF scanning to verify counts.
• Alert leadership to issues with products and await directions.
• Help clean and organize the warehouse at shift end.
• Work with other machinery and material handling equipment.
