Job summary

Millerbernd Manufacturing Company in Winsted, MN is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Operator 2 for 1st shift to join the Transportation & Infrastructure team. You will identify parts, prepare shipments, and use material handling equipment to move materials as required.

Role focuses on loading/unloading, following shipping specs, and maintaining accurate inventory. Excellent teamwork and attention to detail are essential in this hands-on position.

Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Effective verbal and written English communication.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and mechanical drawings.
• Proficient with measuring tools and basic shop math.
• Experience with ERP and inventory control systems.

Responsibilities

• Transport materials using crane, hoist, forklift, or similar equipment.
• Package, band, or shrink-wrap products for shipment.
• Load and unload finished products from trucks.
• Follow customer shipping specifications and standard work.
• Verify parts against paperwork for inventory accuracy.
• Maintain accurate inventory of shipping materials.
• Interpret blueprints, BOL, and documents to identify parts.
• Utilize ERP to track job/material status in the process.
• Inspect deliveries and document logs accurately.
• Train other employees as needed.
