Job summary

Synthomer plc in South Carolina seeks a dependable Material Handler to ensure a continuous flow of materials in the plant. You will receive, label, and prepare shipments, and load containers for worldwide shipping while keeping inventory records accurate.

Responsibilities include filtering operations, transferring materials between lines, and supporting Lean/Six Sigma initiatives within the Production Department. Physically capable of lifting 50 lbs and moving up to 550 lbs as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in material handling in a production or warehouse setting.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and move up to 550 pounds with a hand truck.
• Familiarity with forklift operations and warehouse paperwork.

Responsibilities

• Assures an accurate and continuous flow of materials through the plant.
• Receives and handles incoming materials, prepares labels and data entry.
• Loads containers and trucks for shipment with proper paperwork.
• Performs filtering operations and transfers materials between lines.
• Participates in lean Six Sigma and safety teams for process improvement.
