Job summary

Ashburn Chemical is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Lead to oversee daily operations in our Houston warehouse, ensuring safe, accurate movement of raw materials, finished goods, and inventory. You will lead Clerks and warehouse personnel, coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, maintain ERP/WMS inventory records, and enforce OSHA safety and quality standards.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in shipping/receiving in manufacturing or chemical settings.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 3+ years in shipping/receiving/logistics operations.
• Experience in a manufacturing or chemical environment is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate Shipping & Receiving Clerks and warehouse staff daily.
• Assign workload and prioritize shipments and receipts.
• Train team on shipping, receiving, inventory, and safety procedures.
• Maintain ERP/WMS inventory records and conduct cycle counts.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and quality standards.
• Coordinate inbound/outbound shipments and resolve discrepancies.
