Job summary

Stampede Culinary Partners is seeking a Shipping Supervisor to coordinate workers who verify records on incoming and outgoing shipments and prepare items for shipment. You will use ERP systems, study notices, invoices, and orders to set priorities, oversee movements, and ensure accuracy, timeliness, and safe handling.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED and 3–4 years of supervisory experience; strong communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED; 3–4 years related experience; prior supervisory experience required.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Ability to read and interpret documents and write routine reports.
Regular attendance is required.

Responsibilities

Coordinate activities of workers handling verification and records for shipments.
Utilize ERP system to complete required duties.
Study shipping notices, invoices, orders to determine priorities and methods.
Oversee incoming and outgoing shipping to ensure accuracy, completeness, and condition.
Determine space, routing, and load limits for shipments.
Direct movement of shipments from platform to storage/work areas.
Compile records of unfilled orders; post weights and shipping charges.
Prepare bills of lading and address errors and complaints.
