Job summary

Aerotek is seeking a Shipping & Receiving associate in Minnesota to safely prepare, stack, and load products for shipment and installation. You will apply protective measures, document orders, and use material-handling equipment.

Over time, you may lead the warehouse team and support production tasks such as surface finishing and patching. Responsibilities include stacking and palletizing correctly, labeling, reading drawings, and ensuring accurate trailer loading.

Qualifications

Minimum 12 months of warehouse experience.
Experience with shipping/receiving processes and documentation.
Ability to read work orders, blueprints, shop drawings, hardware lists, and piece tickets.
Proficient with forklifts and pallet jacks.
Able to use overhead hoists for lifting and moving heavy products.

Responsibilities

Stack product on pallets to prevent cracking or damage.
Palletize products for field installation and ensure correct sequence.
Shrink wrap product and apply tickets and labels for identification and tracking.
Operate overhead hoists and forklifts for safe movement of materials.
Load product onto trailers in installation order for streamlined operations.
Lead the warehouse team as needed and take on additional duties over time.
Read blueprints and shop drawings to ensure correct handling of materials.
Assist with surface finishes and patching as required to meet quality standards.
Ensure pallet weights and stability with proper protective devices.
