Job summary

EnviroLogix in Portland, OR is seeking a Shipping and Receiving Lead with a strong continuous improvement mindset. You will manage receiving, shipping to customers, final packaging and inspection, and coordinate shipments with customer service to support SQDC metrics.

The role requires 2–5 years in manufacturing operations, a high school diploma (associates or Bachelor's preferred), and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years experience in manufacturing operations.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• HS diploma; associates or BA preferred in related field.

Responsibilities

• Create daily schedules and allocate labor.
• Ensure the warehouse is ready at the start of every shift.
• Lead daily team production huddle and review performance.
• Maintain Visual Boards and present to Ops leadership daily.
• Issuing Material and Labor to Jobs in ERP System (IFS).
• Verify process start-up and quality checks are conducted.
• Execute daily shipping schedule and meet OTD goals.
• Identify escalations and implement countermeasures.
• Coordinate cross-functional communication to solve issues.
• Maintain documentation of lot/part numbers, inventory, and shipping paperwork.
• Receive and inspect deliveries when needed and perform inventory in ERP.
• Prepare outgoing shipments with quality control of labels and packaging.
• Support kitting and material pulling as needed.
• Coordinate with customer service on delivery timing.
• Manage labor assignments to cover absenteeism and vacations.
• Train team and coordinate cross-training with thorough checklists.
• Follow standard work and manage document changes.
