Job summary

Horton Emergency Vehicles, part of Terex Corporation, is seeking a production leader to drive daily production tasks on the plant floor in Grove City, Ohio. You will guide team members, communicate tasks, and ensure safety standards are met while coordinating with other departments to keep parts flowing and schedules on track.

The role requires 2+ years in a related field, familiarity with various hand and power tools, and the ability to read and follow instructions in English.

Qualifications

• Must be able to prioritize work, work independently, establish and maintain working relationships.
• Must have good understanding of the parts flow throughout the building.
• 2+ years of experience in related field preferred.
• Welding experience and welding certification preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and assist personnel in completing daily production tasks.
• Communicate tasks and instructions to work cell personnel.
• Meet minimum safety standards per department.
• Understand all aspects and processes of the assigned department.
• Qualify for highest ranking job classification within the department.
• Oversee parts ordering and act as lead over machine operators.
• Coordinate interdepartmental communication to ensure timely product receipt.
