Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• At least one year of experience in a responsible position with knowledge of parts built, bill of material usage, inventory control, and leadership preferred.
• Knowledge of computer skills and basic Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.) preferred.
• Knowledge of work orders, process sheets, receiving procedures, and shipping procedures in a manufacturing company.
• Good problem-solving skills, and ability to make decisions.
• Deals with people in a professional, patient, friendly, supportive, and encouraging manner.
• Able to multi-task, organize, prioritize, and be flexible.
• Have a positive attitude and the ability to work under pressure.
• Demonstrated ability and willingness to use AI tools to improve productivity, decision-marking, work quality, and to reduce costs.

Responsibilities

• Directs work of employees in shipping, receiving, stockroom and distribution of supplies.
• Oversees direct shipment of finished goods to customers via commercial transportation.
• Responsible for quality and cost control of assigned area and personnel management.
• Identify, recommend and assist in training for assigned employees.
• Provide work direction and train reporting group; manage personnel issues.
• Ensure safe work practices and identify unsafe conditions.
• Handle all shipping duties including paperwork and data entry.
