Job summary
Aerotek is hiring a Shipping and Receiving Clerk for a Decatur, AL facility. The role supports warehouse operations, handling receipt of materials, outbound shipments, inventory control, and material replenishment for production lines.
The position requires at least 2 years in a warehouse setting, experience with FedEx/UPS shipping software, and proficiency in Excel and ERP systems. Onsite role with potential overtime and benefits.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years in warehouse, shipping, receiving, or inventory roles.
- Experience with FedEx Ship Manager and UPS WorldShip.
- Knowledge of inventory control and material tracking.
- Experience with cycle counts and physical inventory.
- Familiar with BOMs and material movements.
- Proficient with Excel/Word.
- Comfortable using handheld barcode scanners.
Responsibilities
- Receive and verify incoming materials against packing slips and POs.
- Process outbound shipments via FedEx, UPS, and freight carriers.
- Pick, pack and prepare orders for shipment.
- Stock production materials and manage inventory locations.
- Perform cycle counts and inventory audits.
- Scan materials and track in ERP system.
- Maintain safe, organized warehouse environment.
- Support production movement and replenishment.
