Job summary

Arnolds Metal Finishing Of Texas In is seeking a shipping and receiving assistant to support daily operations in the shipping area. You will review contracts, create labels for FedEx and UPS, generate work orders, and pull sales reports for the production manager.

You will also handle customer calls and emails, ensure the shipping area remains clean and organized, coordinate with production, inspect orders, and report any issues to maintenance. Strong attention to detail is required.

Responsibilities

• Review and inspect that all customer's contracts go through the appropriate review.
• Make identification labels for shipments by external agencies (FedEx, UPS)
• Make work orders and refer them to the corresponding department.
• Download sales report for the production manager.
• Make and answer calls and emails from customers for questions or to report eventualities.
• Supervise that the department in charge is always clean and in order.
• Verify and plan with production department the new orders received.
• Visually inspect all parts of orders received.
• Report to the maintenance department any technical failure in the department in charge.
• Solve any eventuality with the shipping and receiving area.
