Eaton's ES GEIS BLD division is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Forklift Operator for 1st shift in Pinckneyville, IL. The role involves optimizing packaging, loading/unloading trucks, building crates, and handling inbound freight with SAP shipping processes.

Overtime may be required, and benefits start day one. Candidates should have forklift experience (stand-up or sit-down) and be able to read packaging tickets, measurements, and engineering drawings.

Qualifications

• Experience operating forklifts (stand-up or sit-down).
• Ability to read measuring tapes, calipers, squares and engineering drawings.
• Familiarity with SAP Shipping functions or similar systems.

Responsibilities

• Optimize packaging based on product.
• Cross-train in all department functions.
• Identify, count, sort, package, and tag completed parts for shipment.
• Load and unload LTL and flatbed trucks.
• Build crates/woodshop to support packaging.
• Read and interpret pick tickets accurately.
• Licensed to operate powered industrial trucks.
• Train other employees as necessary.
• Perform receiving functions on inbound freight including verification and data entry.
• Inspect incoming products and verify against quality specifications.
• Process returned products for restocking and notify Quality on non-conforming material.

The regularly scheduled hours are Monday- Friday, 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. Overtime may exceed these hours and be mandatory at times.
