Job summary

Tulkoff Foods is seeking a Forklift Operator for the Cincinnati, OH area to safely move, load, unload, and stage materials in the warehouse while recording every movement in the ERP system.

The role requires 1–2 years of forklift experience and forklift certification. You must be able to lift 50 pounds, work in temperature-controlled environments, and maintain accurate data entry.

Qualifications

• One to two years of forklift experience in a warehouse or distribution environment.
• Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification.
• Experience entering and processing transactions in an ERP system.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Able to lift 50 pounds and work in varying temperatures.

Responsibilities

• Safely operates a forklift to load, unload, and move pallets and materials.
• Picks, stages, and ships orders per warehouse slotting.
• Records shipping, receiving, and inventory movements in the ERP system.
• Reconciles bills of lading, packing slips, and POs against ERP records.
• Reports shortages, damaged goods, or discrepancies promptly.
• Performs cycle counts and maintains ERP records.
• Conducts daily pre-shift forklift inspections and notes issues.
• Maintains a clean, organized, and safe warehouse per SOPs.

Summary:

The primary role of the Shipping & Receiving Forklift Operator is to safely and efficiently move, load, unload, and stage material throughout the warehouse while ensuring every movement is accurately and promptly recorded as a transaction in the ERP system.

Primary Responsibilities

• Safely operates a forklift and other material handling equipment to load, unload, and move pallets, raw materials, and finished goods
• Picks, stages, and stacks orders for shipping, ensuring product is placed in the correct location per warehouse slotting
• Processes all shipping, receiving, and inventory movements as accurate, real-time transactions in the ERP system, ensuring quantities, locations, and lot/batch data match physical activity
• Reconciles bills of lading, packing slips, and purchase orders against ERP records, identifying and correcting discrepancies before transactions are closed
• Reports any shortages, damaged goods, or discrepancies immediately and documents them accurately for record-keeping purposes
• Performs cycle counts and physical inventory of finished goods, packaging materials, and ingredients, adjusting ERP records as needed
• Performs daily pre-shift forklift inspections and reports any equipment issues to maintenance
• Maintains a clean, organized, and safe warehouse in accordance with plant SOP's

Qualifications

• One to two years prior experience operating a forklift in a warehouse or distribution environment
• Must be forklift certified (or able to obtain certification) and able to safely operate sit-down, stand-up, and/or reach-truck equipment
• Experience entering and processing transactions in an ERP or warehouse management system (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar) preferred
• Basic computer skills with attention to accurate data entry
• Should have a valid driver’s license
• Able to withstand extreme temperature changes from cold to dry warehouses
• Flexible work schedule to cover any shift on an occasional basis
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds, stoop and/or climb as needed and stand for extended periods of time.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to transactional accuracy
