Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Unload and load trucks manually or using material handling equipment.
• Receive hard goods and live goods into the business system against purchase orders, and verify quantities and quality of inbound products.
• Facilitate sorting, labeling, scanning, handling, and storage of inbound shipments.
• Report discrepancies on inbound shipments and support corrective action.
• Operate material handling equipment (pallet jacks, forklifts, tow motors) safely and in compliance with procedures.
• Load outbound trucks and trailers in the correct sequence to support OTIF goals.
• Collaborate with drivers, dispatch, and warehouse teams for timely freight movement.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area per OSHA and company standards.
• All other duties as assigned.

Position Overview

The Cross Dock Crew is responsible for accurate handling of inbound and outbound shipments to support on-time delivery, maintain accurate inventory, ensure efficient production flow, and optimize warehouse operations.

Job Duties

• Unload and load trucks manually or using material handling equipment
• Receive hard goods and live goods into the business system against purchase orders, and verify that quantities and quality of inbound products
• Facilitate proper sorting, labeling, scanning, handling, and storage of all inbound shipments
• Report any discrepancies on inbound shipments against purchase orders and support corrective action
• Operate material handling equipment (pallet jacks, forklifts, tow motors, etc.) safely and in compliance with company procedures
• Load outbound trucks and trailers in the correct sequence to support efficient delivery, ensuring on time and in full (OTIF) goals are met
• Collaborate with drivers, dispatch, operations teams, and warehouse team members to ensure accurate and timely movement of freight
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area that meets OSHA and company safety standards
• All other duties as assigned

• Work performed in a plant/production facility or outdoors; possible extreme heat/cold dependent on season
• Continuously requires ability to follow verbal and written instructions
• Frequently requires walking, lifting (up to 50lbs), carrying, reaching, kneeling, pushing/pulling (up to 200lbs), bending, and crouching
• Occasionally requires sitting, standing, fine dexterity, climbing and handling
• May require ability to operate machinery, drive vehicles (truck, car, van, tug, forklift) or use equipment such as hand tools, computers, or general business equipment
• CDL license or tug/forklift certification may be required
