Job summary

Liberty Diversified International in Ramsey, Minnesota is seeking a Shipping and Receiving Coordinator II to support shipping and receiving operations by planning shipments based on product availability, tracking orders, and preparing shipping documents. This full-time role reports to the Sr.

Supervisor Production and emphasizes safety, technology, and freight management. Responsibilities include load planning with transportation needs, coordinating deliveries with Production Planner/Scheduler

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent from an accredited institution.
• 2+ years of experience in production shipping/receiving as a forklift operator, coordinator, or inventory specialist or comparable.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite for business correspondence, spreadsheets, and reporting.
• Willing and able to work other shifts, including weekends and overtime as needed.
• Ability to work independently and as a team player.

Responsibilities

• Develop load plans based on customer needs, freight availability, and trailer utilization for local and out-of-state transport.
• Coordinate deliveries with Production Planner/Scheduler and Customer Service to align release dates.
• Guide the shipping/receiving team to load trailers efficiently in support of the delivery plan.
• Prepare, review, and retain shipment documents, load sheets, and bills of lading.
• Notify production and customer service of discrepancies between materials and records.
• Coordinate shipping and delivery schedules through carriers and arrange appointments.
• Communicate with customer service to identify priority loads and reschedule missed deliveries.
• Perform regular inventory counts and generate reports for leadership; participate in cycle counts.

As aShipping and Receiving Coordinator IIatLibertyPackaging,youwillsupport successfulshippingand receiving operations by planning shipments based on productavailability and customer requests, tracking orders to ensure timely deliveries, preparing shipping documents.Thisrole drives value by execution in the areas of safety, technology, process improvement, and freight management.

This full-time position reports to the Sr. Supervisor Production and is located at our Ramsey, Minnesota manufacturing facility.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• In partnership with the shipping and receiving supervisor, develop load plans based on customer needs, freight availability, and trailer utilization for local and out-of-state transportation.
• Review customer release dates and align with Production Planner/Scheduler and Customer Service team to coordinate deliveries of finished goods.
• Provide guidance, structure, and prioritization to shipping and receiving team to load trailers efficiently in support of delivery plan
• Prepares, reviews, and retains documentation of shipments, load sheets, bill of lading, and other documents
• Diagnoses and notifies production and customer service teams of any discrepancies of materials versus internal records
• Coordinate the schedule of shipping and delivery of materials through carriers
• Facilitates both inbound and outbound calls to external customers to schedule delivery appointments
• Partners with other departments to rescheduled missed appointments
• Communicates with the customer service team to identify any priority loads
• Performs daily, weekly, monthly cycle counts, produces, and provides inventory reports to shipping and receiving leadership team, and participates in physical inventory process
• Other duties, as assigned

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

• High school diploma or GED equivalent from an accredited institution
• 2+ years of experience in production shipping/receiving as a forklift operator, coordinator, or inventory specialist or comparable
• Previous experience using Microsoft Office Suite to write business correspondence, create spreadsheets and reporting with simple formulas
• Willing and able to work other shifts, including weekends and overtime as needed
• Ability to work independently and as a team player

PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

• Manufacturing industry experience preferred

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

The starting pay range for this position is $24.12 - $30.15per hour. The compensation posted is the anticipated pay for the position at the time of the posting. We may pay above or below posted amount based on several factors, including, but not limited to education and/or certifications, skills, experience, or work location. Some positions may qualify for additional compensation in the form of bonuses.
