Job summary

Canon USA & Affiliates in Sunnyvale, CA, is seeking an entry-level warehouse associate responsible for picking, packing and shipping inbound and outbound shipments under general supervision. The role includes preparing bills of lading, assisting in loading trucks, obtaining signatures, and counting and recording material to ensure shipment accuracy.

Responsibilities include assembling orders, recording shipment data, receiving and unpacking materials, reporting damages, maintaining shipment

Qualifications

• High school Diploma or equivalent.
• Entry level.
• Excellent customer service, professional attitude and appearance are a must.
• Ability to work overtime & meet deadlines.

• Prepare monthly production and volume reports in order to measure productivity and prepare billing charges.
• Unpacks and examines incoming shipments, rejects damaged items, records shortages and corresponds with shipper to rectify damages and shortages.
• Conveys materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or to other designated areas.
• Fills requisitions, work orders or requests for materials, tools, or other stock items and distributes accordingly.
• Posts weights and shipping charges and affixes postage.
• Marks materials with identifying information.

Overview
