Job summary

Cogent, Inc. is seeking a Shipping and Receiving Coordinator in Tulsa, Oklahoma to manage warehouse duties, including shipping, receiving, inventory control, and coordination with vendors.

You will work with multiple departments and external shipping vendors to meet deadlines while upholding quality and safety standards, with the ability to lift up to 70 lbs and forklift operation training provided within 30 days.

Qualifications

• Experience in shipping and receiving or warehouse coordination.
• Solid basic computer knowledge.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and operate with a sense of urgency.
• Excellent written and spoken communication.

Responsibilities

• Receive, unpack, verify, and record all inbound shipments
• Pack, address, and document all outbound shipments
• Assist customers by loading and unloading equipment needing to be serviced
• Coordinate all shipments with appropriate shipping vendors
• Maintain relationships with shipping vendors and drivers
• Inventory cycle counting
• Inventory organization and shelving labeling
• Inventory stocking
• Assists in general labor to maintain the organization and efficiency of the warehouse
• Continuous improvement of delivery, quality, efficiency, and safety of the team
