Job summary

FedEx Supply Chain in Indiana is seeking a Shipping and Receiving Clerk to perform data-entry and administrative tasks supporting inbound and outbound shipments. This role ensures timely and efficient completion of daily functions, including documentation, scheduling, reporting, and customer communications.

The position upholds standards of safety, accuracy, and productivity, with responsibilities such as label generation, WMS reporting, and routine audits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• One year of related data processing experience preferred.
• One year of warehouse/clerical experience preferred.
• PC skills with Windows and Office (Excel, Word).
• Familiarity with RF equipment preferred.
• Strong sense of urgency, attention to detail, and deadline flexibility.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Customer-focused and a strong team player.

Responsibilities

• Perform data entry functions within the assigned work area.
• Execute administrative tasks related to shipping and receiving.
• Coordinate and schedule pick-ups.
• Ensure timely and accurate shipment processing.
• Consolidate shipments in a timely and acceptable manner.
• Adhere to Vendor Routing Guide requirements.
• Support label generation for daily production orders.
• Track monthly rack audit data in Maintenance Connection.
• Track recurring Material Safety Data Sheets in Maintenance Connection.
• Generate custom reports from the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
• Perform inventory adjustment audits.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Analyze workload and communicate with internal departments and external carriers.
• Disseminate departmental data in appropriate report formats.
• Maintain office supplies and interoffice mail distribution.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
