Barrett Distribution Centers, Inc. in Memphis, TN is seeking a Shipping/Receiving Coordinator to join our team. Under the Warehouse Supervisor, you will handle administrative duties in the Shipping/Receiving Department.

This role operates Monday through Friday, 8:00am–4:45pm, with hourly compensation of $20.00. You will coordinate carrier communications, manage inbound/outbound shipments, and support the Operations team with accurate documentation and timely updates.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED strongly preferred.
• At least 1 year of practical work in a warehouse, receiving, or dispatch environment.
• HazMat receiving and shipping experience preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and basic software.
• English communication skills; bilingual Spanish/English a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Serve as single point of contact for carriers and clients regarding deliveries and pickups.
• Check in/out drivers; assign doors and explain dock safety procedures.
• Monitor inbound and outbound shipments for timely processing.
• Record all inbounds/outbounds in the Shipping/Receiving Log and complete documentation.
• Provide end-of-day wrap-up for Operations leadership with key issues.
