Job summary

Avery Dennison Corporation is hiring a Shipping and Receiving Coordinator to manage material movement, loading/unloading, and inventory accuracy on the 3:00 PM–11:00 PM shift. The role emphasizes safety, documentation, and teamwork across finishing, coating, and shipping groups.

Responsibilities include coordinating with teams to meet dispatch times, maintaining warehouse organization, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives while upholding 5-S and waste reduction goals.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) or 3+ years of relevant manufacturing work experience.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Good organizational and customer service skills.
• Must be able to work with computers and programs (Oracle, Telnet, OTM, Google Docs, Lotus Notes).
• Must follow safety practices and work in a team-based environment.

Responsibilities

• Move material to raw, WIP, Finished, Shipping, Receiving, and manufacturing areas.
• Unload/load trucks/tankers with incoming/outgoing materials.
• Document movement of material in Inventory Management System.
• Support inventory accuracy through counts and corrections.
• Coordinate with teams to meet dispatch times.
• Assist with 5-S, housekeeping and recycling programs.
