Job summary

Arcadia Cold Storage in North Charleston, SC is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Coordinator for the 2nd shift (Tue-Sat, 3:30 pm–12:00 am). You will verify bills of lading, process inbound and outbound orders, coordinate with the Warehouse Lead, and maintain accurate records in the Dock Management System.

The role emphasizes speed, accuracy, and teamwork, with emphasis on safety procedures and customer issue resolution within 72 hours.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED, or equivalent experience.
• Basic reading, legible writing and arithmetic skills.
• Strong sense of urgency and ability to meet deadlines.
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Check bills of lading (BOL) for accuracy.
• Process all inbound and outbound orders as trucks arrive and depart warehouse.
• Coordinate shipping and/or receiving operations with Warehouse Lead.
• Check status of special requests, expediting orders where necessary.
• Fill in shipping and/or receiving tally documents.
• Organize “mail slots” with proper paperwork.
• Schedule shipping and/or receiving appointments of LTL and FTL.
• Handle and reconcile all customer complaints and discrepancies within 72-hours.
• Update the DMS (Dock Management System) in a timely manner.
• Execute all safety procedures and standards regarding the storage and receipt of goods.
• Perform other duties and special projects as needed.

POSITION OVERVIEW

A Shipping & Receiving Coordinator verifies and keeps records on incoming and/or outgoing items.

2nd shift: Tuesday - Saturday, 3:30 pm - 12:00 am
